The Mullah: Consummate Paragon of Islamic Virtue

Witnessing this vast, colossal, enormously scandalous stupidity that is the parasitic, gluttonous, lecherous race of Islamic Mullahs, we note that they are stealing, deceiving, plundering, raping, torturing and killing in the name of “Allah” and for the sake of Islam and their Koran, as if Allah were in great danger and must be saved from infidels and non-believers.
“Saving God”: this is arguably the most disturbing idea in the universe. What a primitive gesture, and an egregious insult to the intelligence of humans (aka homo sapiens)!
According to the statistics, there appear to be some one and a half billion Muslim believers on this planet. They eat the same food and breathe the same air as the rest of the human race. So I wonder: do all the Muslims think the same way as the Mullahs do? Then again we know the answer to that question, for it would be rather naïve to believe that earth’s creatures are born exclusively from “religion” and not from ordinary flesh and blood in the first instance.
The fact is that, wherever one goes, people are all alike. There is no escape from this “natural habitat” of humankind, which is the fact of human existence after having been born. And then eventually the day will come when each and every human will have to face the bitter reality of death. And this Death, “the undiscover’d country from whose bourn no traveller returns”, as Hamlet so aptly describes it, is an “absolute unknown” for the whole of humankind. It always has been, and always will be thus.
So relax. It would be better if you were to devote your time on this planet to enhancing your IQ, rather than worry about God. The Almighty is much stronger than you or I.
Practically, then, Mr. Mullah, you are no more than a mere fart in the universe, an infinitesimal heap of excrement in  some remote and forgotten corner of the most distant galaxy, a vile and pernicious cockroach that needs to be crushed out of existence in the most expeditious manner possible.

All the world....

All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely forced to be

Since I was a child I had been forced to believe that God sees and hears everything. This Almighty God/Deus Omnipotens is the supreme exponent of what I would term “Force”. Force of and in itself is an innovative power, a supreme entity, that can force human slaves to make pyramids, to create great wonders, to achieve formidable things. This “force” exists within every molecule in the universe. But what is this “force”? Where does it really come from?
Is it possible that this “force” paradoxically originates in our weakness as human beings? In other words, by being “weak” we must exercise force in order to become more intelligent, more capable. Through this force we become more powerful as a matter of course. And through our intelligence we have to exert ourselves to create things that serve us better, such as guns and technology, and force others to respect Force itself. Consequently what we call “civilization” comes from this forceful source itself.
Hand in hand with science, we have also created Religion, together with any other intermediary faculties in the metaphysical realm. This religious aspect has been necessary for Humankind’s mental and spiritual equilibrium. But science and religion have constantly been in conflict, and continue to remain so. One can say that here we are confronted with One Force Divided.
We force ourselves to force others to become what we are. This force, which exists across the universe, has varying degrees of intensity. By analogy we can say that we proceed from class to class, grade to grade, in our school careers, in other words from one level of “force” to a higher level of “force”. The final aim will be to achieve the ultimate force, to boldly attain that force that will never have been attained heretofore.
This Force is basically an unknown entity, as vast and wide as the universe. We have no idea where we are going, and where we are coming from. This “force” drives us to attempt to reach the original forceful source out of which we had been fashioned. As a result we are forced to progress from level to level, and before we know it we die. What is our real task as human beings? Our real task is to obey this Force.
So what is the ultimate quest of this Force? This question reminds me of my music teacher, who asked me: “Why do you wish to play music ?” It took me two and a half years to come up with an answer. After having studied Gray’s Anatomy, and having familiarized myself with every bone and limb in the human body, I remained ignorant of what force actually made this body move. My answer was: “Sound, the force of sound!” My teacher replied: “What do you mean by “force of sound”? No-one forces you to play this music”. I answered: “No Master, the sound, the sound itself is the force!” Then he dropped in his chair, totally transfixed. He sighed very heavily, and asked: “Do you really think I have the knowledge to teach you what you are seeking?” My reply was: “Yes. All roads lead to Rome”.
From that moment on, my quest became to identify that Force. And it must not be forgotten that the process of searching itself, the quest itself, is part of that Force too. In my case this Force is the world of Sound.
One might say, however, that we do have options, that we are not really forced to do anything. But in reality, any option or course of action that we undertake is in and of itself part of that Force. In my case I might say that I wholeheartedly give my whole being to this Force, so that it might reveal itself to me. This is the shortest route to reunion with this Force, which is to all intents and purposes the Force of the entire universe.

Sound/music/prefix and suffix

I remember one day I was giving a concert in London, in May 1985. I was demonstrating sounds on my self-made instrument, and I was explaining how different sounds could change Man’s life. Right after the concert in the auditorium, someone asked me if this was Sufi music, and if I was a Moslem. I replied: “No, I am a tree”. He paused in amazement: “What do you mean by a tree?” he inquired. I gave no reply.
To this day, I have never been able to comprehend why people always identify and classify others according to certain stereotypical perspectives. If a tree is born in Israel, then it must necessarily be a “Jew”. If a bird comes into existence in Saudi Arabia, then this bird must be “Moslem”. This narrow-mindedness in the ambiguous mind of humans always seems to be attempting to belittle, devalue and emasculate the Force we have discussed above.
When one is born a Christian, a Jew, a Moslem, or into any other religion, one is generally compelled to accept that one is chained to a label or classification, and that consequently one cannot change one’s beliefs. The same obtains for any other set of beliefs, such as atheism, agnosticism, humanism, rationalism, and what I would term “scientific fanaticism”. In other words, before the “-ism” there was and always is the quasi-Biblical premise: “I am that I am”. Is it not true that, before you are born as this or that, you are born first and foremost as a human entity, a human “being and becoming”? Surely this is a very visceral human Force, which transcends the superficial plane of belonging to such and such a religion, or such and such an “-ism”. Is it not true that we were all born as independent human entities first and foremost, regardless of this or that forced identity? In keeping with all I have asserted above, we can call this “Forcism”.

Who is out there?

As long as I can remember, music has lived in my soul, and playing the hammer dulcimer or Santur has been the medium I have chosen in order to penetrate the sounds of the unseen and untouched galaxies. Yet, I have not been able to apprehend why this phenomenon is so complex to unravel and why our physical capabilities are so restricted. I am truly fascinated by the unlimited source of energy that shapes the magical mysteries of the universe.

Certainly it is a great challenge for man's physical and mental capacities to comprehend the true dimensions of such an enigma. This hidden phenomenon perhaps reveals itself only to those who, on a subconscious level, travel between these dimensions, and this is the reason why some composers have "lived" so long even though they have been physically dead for some time.

Since man is unaware of his origins, he cannot explain the source of this life of "musical sounds". We are left to believe that we mimic many sounds of nature, and the recordings that astronomical research has made hitherto of the sounds of this musical, outer space, do not translate as "music" to our ears. Hence, our knowledge of musical soundscapes as a whole, whether it is projected from the depths of our planet or outer space, is going to remain limited.

With the arrival of technology our vision and understanding of musical sounds has changed immensely, and the new direction of perceptual manipulation in music creates an enormous bazaar of musicians around the world with only one objective to achieve: popularity.

However, speaking for myself, I would rather continue with my metaphorical observations of this energetic life form that shapes the entire universe, with a view to fully embracing and comprehending the quintessence of this energy. I sincerely believe that, from all the sounds that we are surrounded by on this planet, be it oceanic sounds or those sounds that are produced by animals of all sorts, including those that we have created (for example, the sound of machines, the sound of musical symphonies), we react only to a small percentage of them, such as the song of a nightingale, the roar of a lion or the chug of a train. In other words, we are unable to perceive sounds that come from deep space, such as the sound of the earth revolving around the sun, the sound of a comet speeding by, and the sound of a collapsing star.

I think that the work of most composers is often limited to their times, seasons and eras, and this is mainly due to the limited knowledge of the origin of sound as a life force.
